Today I went to a completely stuffed antique shop. There were plenty of interesting, and very odd, old things to look at, but I particularly liked these three things: old spoons, old coins, and old Coca-Cola things.

This set of spoons was my favorite because they each had a tiny map of different States on them. I happen to be rather fond of maps… so I especially liked these.
Something about old coins has always fascinated me. Maybe it’s just knowing they’ve been around for so much longer than I have… perhaps it’s wondering what people used these coins or what they purchased with them.
Anyway I found these seven today and decided I’d get them. The one in the middle is my favorite, probably because it’s the oldest– from Switzerland, 1913.

And then, for some strange reason I can’t explain, Coke things just happen to be kinda fun to me.

But I must admit, the main reason I came along with a few of my relatives, to this little store, was to get to go to the place next door….
Morelia Cafe

Though this painting is a sad representation of the spectacular city, the food was still quite amazing.
And being there brought to mind some of the most wonderful memories….

There. A post with words. Happy?
